IAF to destroy unexploded bombs fired by Pakistan after Balakot airstrikes

he Indian Air Force (IAF) has requested to destroy unexplored bombs fired by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) in the Mendhar area along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.

Pakistan had fired the bombs on February 27, a day after the IAF carried out airstrikes across the LoC in Balakot, but did not explode. The bombs were released from PAF’s F-16 and Mirage-III combat planes.

Joint teams of the Army and the Air Force would now be tasked to destroy the bombs fired by the PAF that did not explode when they were fired.
