No prior experience is required but candidates must meet a strict criteria which includes being at least 21-years-old at time of application and having an arm reach of 212cm when standing on tiptoes.

  • exclusive discounts on shopping and leisure activities in Dubai, and,
  • concessional travel benefits for cabin crew and family and friends.

The company wants people who will be positive, confident, flexible, friendly in the role and very keen to help others.

Applicants for the roles will not be accepted if they show visible tattoos while you’re in Emirates cabin crew uniform and cosmetic and bandage coverings are not permitted.

The airline has a few additional requirements too. They want applicants to be:

  • At least 160 cm tall,
  • A high school graduate,
  • Fluent in English – written and spoken,
  • Adaptable to new people, new places and new situations, and,
  • Physically fit for this demanding role.

They want new staff to be “culturally aware” and reflect their brand as professional, empathetic, progressive, visionary and cosmopolitan.

Country Manager for Emirates in Ireland, Enda Corneille, said: “The open day is a great opportunity for people to get their career off to a flying start. Applicants just need to drop in to the Open Day with an up-to-date CV in English and a recent photograph. Pre-registration is not required.

“Shortlisted candidates will be informed of timings for further assessments and interviews.

“This cabin crew open day follows our recent pilot recruitment roadshow. It is an exciting time for us as Emirates continues to grow and we encourage interested applicants to attend and meet some of our cabin crew team who will be happy to answer any questions about the role and life in Dubai.”
